Lately, I think ive pretty much stopped using my blog as personal journal, and just started posting stuff i like. So im hitting the text update.
Since my last post, I've acheived a fair bit, some of it actually relevant to multimedia. I applied for a placement at sport lived, think everyone got an email about it, designed a creative C.V, mainly illustrative with a nice typographical view point to it, and that went pretty good.
I've been struggling with what pathway to embark on next year, ask my mom,shes sick of the topic. I don't understand film, how its art, or the things needed to make one amazing, i think i'm pretty selfish in wanting my idea to be mine as well, but as an option for next year, the fact id struggle with it made it hugely appealing. haha, and it hints at taking me places im more than happy to land at; cbbc and cbeebies, the conceptual side of things, ideas for shows.
animation, as much as i rant i hate it, has some amazing aspects to it, i think i buzz mainly about ideas, and concepts, and dvelopment rather than technical practical side of things, ive recently come to realise. but still i hugely enjoy the planning process, theres so much scope and potential, 3d animation is such a blank canvas, everythings yours. as well as that the planning involves a lot of illustration, which im always harping on about, loved that, and agaaaain the fact it is so frustrating, like a test of yourself. ultimately tho, im walking away with number three i think, as i dunno whether or not id be able to mantain sanity after weeks of rendering and premiere shit pro.
my problem with interactive, is that is so expected of me i think, to apply for graphics, fail and then opt for the most closely related pathway.i came to the course with a completley open mind, and no intention to head towards web, but i think ultimatley, the possibility and new ways of reaching people is fantaaaaaastique. im thinking i can still somehow direct things towards kids, making something, i dunno maybe educational, that goes against the whole problem i have with web, making you intoa reclusive zombie, haha compared to a sociable one. ive got a lot of issues with technology, so maybe hittin that face on, and finding new and innovative ways to make the web engaging, educational, and exciting is the way forward.
gonna shove some of this stuff into the visual essay i reckon. best place for it.

I think im pretty sorted these days. some people have been a moanin about stuff, but i think as long as you've got a buzz, youre gonna ace whatever it is youre doing.
