Larry Constantine and Lucy Lockwood

not far away from their hogwarthian names, these two web wizards introduced user faced design in the format of a boo'ek.

dumbed down - activity centred, purposeful design.

structure, simplicity,visibility, feedback, tolerance, reusability.
in a metaphorical nutshell, youve gotta consider, expect and prepare for the above.

structure - does it make sense ? no ? then youre an idiot. what's the architecture behind the way you've shoved stuff on the page ? does it lead on to other stuff, is relevant. think dingbat think.

simplicity - tasks should be easy/fuss free/hassluzz t complete. dont make everything as over complicated as my blog posts.

visibility - dont fuzz up peoples eyes with unecessary gubbins. yeah facebook, and letmewatchthis.com take youre cruddy ads away theyre distracting. poor design interface.

feedback - is everything up to date ? youre not showing them a load of personally irrelevant crap are you ? come one now kids. filterrrrr.

tolerance - flexible, tolerant, the mary poppins of design. prepare, plan and by that outsmart all eventualitys. making a smooth ride, shorta like a trip out on the quads.

reusability - your site should remember recall and retain information, so the poor exhausted user doesnt have to keep telling you the same, no doubt boring information.

mental note to self. refer to this CONSTANTly. get it ?
